PSG wants Mourinho, the Portuguese open to start a new challenge

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen on signing Jose Mourinho.

According to “RMC Sport”, the reigning French champion has set his sights on the Portuguese and they want to lure him away from Rome.

Mourinho worked with PSG sporting director Luis Campos when they were at Real Madrid a decade ago and are said to be keen to reunite in the French capital.

The 60-year-old seems open to embarking on a new adventure in France. He is said to have not yet been contacted, but to have signals from both camps.

Although Roma are in the quarter-finals of the Europa League and currently third in Serie A, the “Special One” has repeatedly spoken about the club’s financial constraints and his frustration at not being able to aim higher.

Meanwhile, PSG are still aiming for success in the Champions League. The failure of this season has caused the club to release the current coach, Christophe Galtier, after the end of this season.

The Parisians could face competition from Chelsea, who have also been linked with the 60-year-old’s return.

Otherwise, Jose Mourinho has a valid contract with Roma until the summer of next year.
