It’s only a matter of time before Xavi Hernandez’s Barcelona contract is extended, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The club has the proposal for the new agreement ready, while Xavi currently prefers to focus on the team’s matches.
The coach and the board have previously worked on the club’s plans, until his wish is to win the Spanish championship this season, and then sign the new contract.
