Roma striker Tammy Abraham has spoken about the transfer of Paulo Dybala to his team.
It’s been 21 years since they last won Serie A and, despite winning the Europa League last season, they finished sixth in the league – 23 points behind winners Milan.
Asked if Abraham would like to win the Italian league trophy for ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, he replied: “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to win the Scudetto,” the striker initially said.
He was also asked how he feels about playing alongside Dybala, the England forward adding:
“I think it is a privilege to have such a good player in our team. It means a lot to the fans, who have received him very well.
Dybala makes Roma contenders for the Scudetto”, he concluded.
Dybala joined Roma as a free player after his contract with Juventus expired.
