Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very close to returning to the field, after a long absence for physical reasons. The Swedish giant was on the bench for Milan’s last two games and the veteran striker’s next aim is to break a Serie A record. The Swede is looking forward to becoming the oldest goalscorer in the history of the Italian league.
According to “Gazzetta dello Sport”, the former legendary defender of Milan, Alessandro Costacurta, is the holder of this record: he scored when he was 40 years, three months and six days. The Swedish striker is 41 years and 146 days old. Ibrahimovic is returning to football after a serious knee injury suffered in May last year.
