The midfielder of Real Madrid, Toni Kroos has expressed his belief that we will see the idea of the European Super League implemented in the future.
The German ace spoke on his podcast “Einfach mal Luppen” and said that the venture is worth giving a chance, while adding that the competition will be controlled by the teams themselves and not by UEFA, writes abcnews.al.
“I think we will see the European Super League. And so I believe for several reasons. The concept of the European Super League has changed and is worth listening to. If you look carefully from both sides”.
It is a sporting event, an open tournament, which will be controlled by the teams and not by UEFA, because these teams think they don’t need UEFA. I think this venture deserves at least a chance”, were the words of the 33-year-old Real Madrid player.
