Carlo Ancelotti has been chosen as the best 2022 club coach in the world by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The Italian coach dominated the rankings after a season in which Real Madrid won the La Liga Santander title, the Champions League trophy and the Spanish Super Cup, before also winning the UEFA Super Cup.
Ancelotti won by a large margin
Ancelotti received 245 points, 200 more than Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who came second.
The podium was completed by Walid Regragui, who won the CAF Champions League with Wydad Casablanca.
This is the third time that Ancelotti has won the aforementioned award, having previously been named the best coach in the world for the club in 2007, when he was in charge of Milan, and in 2014, when he won the Champions League with Real Madrid .
He is currently in his second season with Los Blancos, with his contract expiring on June 30, 2024.
