The room where Lionel Messi stayed during the World Cup in Qatar will be turned into a museum. This is how Qatar University (QU) announced that the room where the Argentine star stayed, “B201”, will turn it into a small museum.
The university campus was the base camp of the Argentina National Team during the 29 days of the tournament.
New footage released by QU shows the campus decked out in blue and white, as well as halls filled with posters of the world champions, their autographs and jerseys.
Qatar University had opened three sports complexes for Argentinians that offered the possibility of practicing outdoor sports, in addition to the indoor gym. The exact date of opening to the public has not yet been specified.
