The star of the Croatian national team, Luka Modric, has spoken after the loss to Croatia, saying that the team will fight for his position.
The one-time Golden Ball winner, who is Croatia’s captain, believes that third place would be a good result for the Croatians.
“There is a bronze medal at stake now, we have to prepare well”, Modric said.
“If we win the bronze medal, it would be a good result for us”, added the Croatian.
