Roberto Firmino has not been included in Brazil’s national team list for the 2022 World Cup.
Liverpool’s Brazilian star Roberto Firmino wasn’t too happy when Brazil’s squad was released.
Tite chose several names for the attacking phase, but there was no place for Firmino. However, the latter had only good words for his friends who were chosen to travel to Qatar.
“Yesterday, things didn’t go the way I imagined or the way I dreamed all my life, but I look back and I’m thankful to God because he enabled me to live this dream in 2018,” Firmino said.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate everyone who was invited,” added the Liverpool member.
Firmino didn’t have the best start to the season. He missed several games due to injury and failed to regain his top form.
