Lionel Messi will have a statue outside Camp Nou.
The president of the Barcelona team, Joan Laporta, has said that the club will honor the Argentine icon with a statue.
Lionel Messi has written history with the Barcelona team, winning all the possible trophies, as well as winning many individual awards, including seven Ballon d’Or (he received the seventh with the PSG shirt, but the appearances were with the Barca shirt) .
For his contribution, never seen in football or in any club, Barca will reward Messi.
“We will build a statue of Leo Messi outside Camp Nou. The decision has been made”, Laporta said.
There are several reports that say Leo Messi could return to Barcelona next summer.
The 35-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season. He has the option to continue at Parc des Princes, but Barca will do their best to bring him back to Camp Nou.
