Real Madrid secured a 3–2 victory over Atlético Madrid in the Madrid derby, played as part of Matchday 29 in La Liga.
They lost the first half 0–1 after a goal from Ademola Lookman, but turned things around in the second half with goals from Vinícius Júnior and Federico Valverde.
Atlético equalized through a stunning goal by Nahuel Molina, but Vinícius Júnior scored again to seal the win for Los Blancos and grab his second personal goal.
Things became complicated when, at 3–2, Federico Valverde received a straight red card, but Real still managed to hold on to their lead.
Now Real, who sit in second place, are four points behind leaders FC Barcelona, who won 1–0 today against Rayo Vallecano.
