Barcelona have earned over €100 million in revenue from Champions League prize money this season, reflecting the significant financial benefits that come from a successful run in European competitions.
After an impressive 7–2 victory over Newcastle United (8–3 on aggregate across both matches) in the Round of 16, the Catalans secured qualification for the quarter-finals and at the same time guaranteed record earnings for this stage of the competition. In total, Barcelona have generated €100.34 million.
Of this amount, €23.5 million comes from the knockout stage, while the rest has been secured through participation and results in the group stage.
This financial success highlights the importance of a deep run in Europe’s most prestigious football competition and reflects the club’s strong form on the international stage.
