Scott McTominay has dismissed rumors of a return to Manchester United, stressing that he is very happy at Napoli and can see himself there “for a long time.”
The Scottish midfielder has flourished in Italy under the guidance of Antonio Conte, becoming one of the team’s most important players. After a debut season in which he was named Serie A Player of the Year and won the league title, he has continued to deliver strong performances this season as well.
“I’m extremely happy here. For me, only Napoli exists,” McTominay said, making it clear that a return to Old Trafford is not in his plans.
The 29-year-old has a contract until 2028, and Napoli are not expected to let go easily of one of their key stars.
