“He has to go, enough is enough” – Liverpool fans grow tired of Arne Slot and call for his immediate dismissal

Arne Slot’s future at Liverpool has once again been thrown into doubt by the fans following a disappointing 1–1 draw against Burnley, a team battling relegation.

Liverpool completely dominated the first half, scoring, creating chances, and allowing no serious defensive threats, but their superiority in play was not reflected on the scoreboard. The failure to convert chances cost The Reds two points, as Burnley scored with their first shot on target. With no further response from the hosts, the match ended in a draw.

Slot’s side finished the match with a total of 32 shots (11 on target) but only one goal, becoming the first Liverpool team since the 1980/81 season to fail to beat any of the newly promoted teams at Anfield.

Although the unbeaten run extended to 12 matches, the fact that Liverpool failed to defeat 19th-placed Burnley has increased fan dissatisfaction, with supporters beginning to openly criticise the style of play under Slot’s management.

“Thank God our unbeaten run stayed intact. But seriously — enough is enough.”

“Enough is enough. Slot has to go. This is simply unacceptable.”

“The streets won’t forget this ‘unbeaten’ run where every match has been turned into a sleeping pill. Every game is just a fight not to lose or to draw. Every match makes us wonder what exactly we’re doing in training.”

“At this rate we won’t qualify for the Champions League. There are teams playing much better football than us, and over the course of a season these things even out — in the end we’ll finish in the Europa League,” were just some of the reactions from fans of the English giant on social media.

Meanwhile, Slot is seriously risking dismissal, with Liverpool already considering Xabi Alonso as an alternative option.
