Barcelona’s young star, Lamine Yamal (18), still hasn’t passed his driving test, even though he is already of legal age.
In July, rumors circulated that Yamal would travel to Cuenca to take his driving exam at a well-known driving school where many celebrities have done the same, but Yamal still does not have a driver’s license.
Last summer, Yamal was the only Barcelona player who didn’t receive a Cupra — the club’s sponsor — and he explained the reason in an interview with CBS News after being asked about it.
Barcelona’s number ten commented on the story of his first car and said that he wouldn’t be tempted to spend a fortune on an SUV.
“My first car won’t be a Lamborghini. I would be happy with an Audi, a Mercedes, or a Cupra,” Yamal said.
The Barça player also revealed that he finally wants “to feel that freedom of driving alone.”
Until recently, Yamal used to arrive at Barcelona training with his ex-girlfriend Nicki Nicole, but their relationship ended not long ago.
“My car will be the one that all my friends want and can enjoy,” Yamal concluded.
We will have to wait until Yamal passes his driving test to see which model he ultimately chooses.
