Manchester City is preparing for their upcoming match against Sunderland, and Pep Guardiola is not hiding his respect for the opposing team.
After City’s win over Fulham, the Spanish manager spoke at the press conference and emphasized that the challenge against Sunderland will be difficult.
“We will now face Sunderland. I watched them against Fulham – oh God! Now I understand why they are in that position in the table. They are extraordinary, really… top, top!” Guardiola said.
Sunderland will first face Liverpool tonight at Anfield, and then on Saturday they will host Manchester City at the Etihad.
