Tuesday was a night of victories for Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
A total of nine matches were played tonight in the most prestigious European club competition, the Champions League.
Arsenal continued their extraordinary form with a major 3–1 win over Bayern, who had not lost a single match this season. Jurrien Timber opened the scoring with a header after a corner from Bukayo Saka, while the Bavarians equalized through Lennart Karl after a quick attacking move.
In the second half, the London side dominated and secured the victory thanks to the return of Riccardo Calafiori, who assisted Noni Madueke immediately after coming on. Gabriel Martinelli sealed the result on the counterattack.
In Greece, Kylian Mbappe was the absolute protagonist in Real Madrid’s 4–2 win over Olympiacos, scoring all four goals. Olympiacos scored first through Chiquinho, but then came the Frenchman’s explosion: three goals within seven minutes.
In the second half, Taremi reduced the deficit, but Vinícius Jr. combined with Mbappe, who scored his fourth goal of the night.
One of the most exciting matches took place in Paris, where PSG triumphed 5–3 over Tottenham. Vitinha was the star of the match with a hat-trick.
Tottenham took the lead first through Richarlison, but Vitinha equalized before halftime. The second half brought real drama: the London side scored again through Kolo Muani, but PSG responded with three consecutive goals thanks to Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz. Although Spurs found another goal, Vitinha’s penalty closed the match.
