Barcelona president Joan Laporta dismissed the rumors about bringing Lionel Messi back on loan from Inter Miami.
“Out of respect for him, but also for our players and members, this is not the time to speculate about unrealistic scenarios like this.”
“Despite everything that has happened,” Laporta continued, “I have no regrets about Leo Messi’s departure. It wasn’t what we wanted, but at the time it was not possible. Barcelona is above everyone else,” Laporta emphasized.
