After nearly three months, Jude Bellingham has finally returned to his best physical shape and form, having played the full 90 minutes against Juventus and scoring the winning goal in the 1-0 Champions League victory.
After the match at the ‘Bernabeu’, Bellingham explained how he felt after scoring the winning goal and the difference between last season and this year with Real Madrid.
“It’s a wonderful feeling. After such a long time, to play a big Champions League match and score the winning goal — I’ve dreamed of this moment,” Bellingham initially said. “I think in the first year we played with a few different formations; Carlo likes to be adaptable.”
“Last year wasn’t a disaster; I didn’t play that badly, with 15 goals and 14 assists.”
“This season, the process has changed with the new coach — we want to play better and score more,” the English star concluded.
