Real Madrid is almost certain not to make any signings during the winter transfer window, though some departures could take place.
Ferland Mendy is one of the candidates to leave now that he has fully recovered, but it is more likely that a forward could depart, considering that Endrick Felipe and Gonzalo Garcia have had very limited playing time so far this season.
Gonzalo has been Kylian Mbappé’s backup since the start of the campaign, and since Real Madrid has no plans to part ways with the “La Fábrica” academy product when the market opens, that puts Endrick in a difficult position — especially given his desire to be part of Brazil’s national team for the 2026 World Cup.
Endrick has not played a single minute since returning from injury in September, and if the situation continues, he would be the main candidate to leave in January. He has already attracted interest from clubs such as Marseille, and according to L’Équipe
It remains unclear whether Marseille — who were also interested in Endrick during the summer — will pursue a loan deal or a permanent transfer. In the latter case, Real Madrid would almost certainly reject any offer outright. A loan until the end of the season would be the most suitable solution for all parties, provided that the Brazilian striker receives regular playing time at the Vélodrome.
For now, it remains to be seen whether Endrick will leave Real Madrid during the winter window. He was clear about his desire to stay at the club over the summer, but now that he appears to be third in the attacking hierarchy, it might make more sense for him to consider his options ahead of January.
