Spanish football fans are facing a serious test for their wallets, as ticket prices for the first El Clásico of the season have reached astronomical levels.
The clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona, which will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 26, will be accessible only to those willing to pay record-breaking sums. According to official information from Real Madrid’s website, ticket prices for the big derby range from €135 to €465. The cheapest tickets are for seats in the fourth tier of the stadium, while the most expensive ones — offering the best view of the pitch — reach an impressive €465.
However, the real shock comes from the prices of VIP seats, which start at €990, setting a new record for the club in recent years.
Even standard seats in the lower and upper sections of the stands are being sold for around €405, while those with a better view in the central section cost €325.
