A GMP spokesperson said:

“We can confirm that we found a body at an address on Bowlacre Road, Gee Cross, at 6:45 a.m. today, Sunday, September 14. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”

A police cordon has been placed around his home in Hyde, according to Manchester Evening News reports.
