Mourinho Asks Fenerbahçe to Sign Real Madrid Star

Real Madrid is expected to sell at least one first-team player in the coming weeks, as the squad has now reached its maximum capacity.

With the arrivals of Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Franco Mastantuono, and Alvaro Carreras, Xabi Alonso now has 25 first-team players at his disposal, meaning no further signings can be made unless someone leaves.
Rodrygo Goes, Ferland Mendy, and David Alaba are three players that Real Madrid is open to parting ways with, while there are also doubts about the futures of Dani Ceballos and Endrick Felipe. Moreover, there is a possibility that Brahim Diaz could also leave.

This comes as Fenerbahçe has expressed interest in signing Brahim Diaz, according to reports from Turkey (via ED). Jose Mourinho, who managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, has reportedly personally requested that the Moroccan international join his squad before the end of the summer transfer window.

However, Mourinho and Fenerbahçe may not have much luck in this case, as it’s reported that Brahim Diaz is likely to remain at Real Madrid for at least another season. Recently, it was revealed that the 25-year-old has reached an agreement to renew his contract, with official confirmation expected in the coming weeks.

Brahim Diaz has been a very useful player for Real Madrid since returning from Milan two summers ago, although he is expected to have fewer opportunities next season due to the arrival of Franco Mastantuono and the fact that Xabi Alonso favors Arda Güler. Still, he is not expected to leave the Santiago Bernabéu.
