Liverpool has no intention of ending its activity in the transfer market, despite having secured the signing of forward Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to recent reports, the English club has reached an agreement with the German side for a fee of around €93 million (including bonuses), while the French striker is in the final stages of the transfer – including medical tests and signing the contract.
This purchase brings the total summer investment of The Reds to nearly €350 million. But according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is not done yet. Under the leadership of new manager Arne Slot, the club is seeking further reinforcements, especially in the defensive line.

Names like Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Illia Zabarnyi (Bournemouth), and Charlie Cresswell (Toulouse) are reportedly on the radar of the Anfield club.
Meanwhile, developments in the attacking department may also occur. Luis Diaz and Federico Chiesa could both leave this summer, and if one or both are transferred, Liverpool will need to return to the market to secure another winger.
The Reds appear determined to build a competitive squad under Arne Slot’s guidance – a hot summer is still expected at Anfield
