Garcia has rejected six teams, seeks new contract at Real Madrid

At Real Madrid, important decisions continue to be made regarding the formation of the squad for the new season, following the conclusion of the Club World Cup.

One of the names that has drawn significant attention is Gonzalo Garcia, who shone during the tournament and showed that he could be a key part of coach Xabi Alonso’s project.

Despite interest from abroad, Gonzalo has decided to stay in Madrid and fight for his place in the team, rejecting concrete offers from various European clubs. According to AS, the player has turned down interest from Roma, Chelsea, Leeds United, Aston Villa

, Bayer Leverkusen, and most recently Real Oviedo.

Garcia has asked his agent to begin negotiations for a contract renewal, even though he currently has a release clause of €50 million, which makes him an attractive target for many clubs.

His decision to stay is seen as a sign of trust in Real Madrid’s sporting project and a desire to grow as part of the club that developed him.

At his young age, Gonzalo aims to continue rising within Los Blancos, establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in Spanish football.
