Faith
In this world that’s shrinking tight,
Growing lonelier day and night,
A little faith would just suffice,
To have your kindred spirit nice.
In this world of hardship’s reign,
When God is all that does remain,
You’ll need to pause and contemplate
Someone who’ll dry your tears of late.
In this world where trust runs thin,
Where believing feels like a sin,
Trust your own deep intuition,
Let your feeling find its mission.
In this world where spirits bend,
Where life seems like a fake pretend,
You’ll need wisdom’s strength to see
That your companion’s meant to be.
In this world turned dark and cold,
Where even self-doubt takes its hold,
You’ll need a choice, a firm decree
That life’s not meant to pass lonely.
In this world that falls apart,
Where feelings ache with painful start,
You’ll need keen sense and clarity,
To keep the hearts from losing warmth’sarity.
