Portugal has advanced to the Nations League final after eliminating Germany at their home ground, the Allianz Arena.
The first half was dominated by numerous chances, but both goals remained untouched.
The second 45 minutes began with intensity, featuring a total of three goals.
In the 48th minute, Florian Wirtz gave Die Mannschaft the lead with an assist from Joshua Kimmich.
However, it was then all about Portugal, who scored two goals to turn the result around.
Francisco Conceição equalized at 1-1 in the 63rd minute after an assist from Rúben Dias.
Five minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo completed the comeback when Nuno Mendes accurately found the Portuguese legend.
Thus, Portugal will find out tomorrow (June 5) who their opponent in the final will be – as Spain and France face off.
It’s worth noting that Portugal was the first winner of the Nations League in the inaugural edition of UEFA’s newest competition, and they are set for a tough final regardless of whether La Roja or Les Bleus go through.
