This world doesn’t care at all for me,
But I don’t care for it either!
We live together, often in anger,
(It’s the world’s fault — what more do you want!?)
It never once asked me the question,
About the rains that poured over me!
It couldn’t believe I danced with death,
Refused to return the shoe I’d found for it!
In the circles beneath my tired eyes,
A dusky sky has formed.
Within this dusk, I battle the world —
Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose!
