Manchester United has officially confirmed the signing of Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian forward has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2030. Cunha successfully completed his medical tests, and the club has now issued an official announcement regarding his transfer.
“Manchester United has reached an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of Matheus Cunha,” the official statement reads.
The English club has paid the player’s release clause, which amounts to €73 million.
The transfer is still pending the completion of visa procedures and official registration.
Cunha is expected to join the team for training as soon as all administrative procedures are finalized.
