Rodrygo Breaks the Silence: “Don’t Make Things Up, I’ll Be Back Soon”

Real Madrid’s Brazilian superstar, Rodrygo Goes, has promised a quick return to the pitch after missing three consecutive matches for Los Blancos. The Brazilian is also at the center of numerous speculations regarding his future.

Rodrygo missed the penultimate match against Celta Vigo due to a fever and was also absent from El Clasico. This came despite Carlo Ancelotti stating just 24 hours earlier that the player was fit to play, while also emphasizing that Rodrygo wasn’t in good health. On Tuesday, Rodrygo left training with muscle discomfort and will miss the upcoming match against RCD Mallorca.

During El Clasico, young talent Victor Munoz replaced Vinicius Junior, while Rodrygo didn’t even warm up before the match. According to some reports, Rodrygo had told Ancelotti that he didn’t feel mentally ready to play against Barcelona. On Tuesday, Ancelotti once again defended his forward, stressing that Rodrygo’s frustration came solely from physical issues and his inability to reach peak form.

On Wednesday, Rodrygo responded on social media, denying the rumors.

“Thank you for all the messages and concern. I’ll be back soon. Don’t make things up,” he wrote on Twitter/X, alongside a photo of his legs.
