English club enters the race for Rodrygo

Arsenal has begun making moves for the upcoming transfer window, and one of the names that has caught significant attention in London is Rodrygo Goes.

Although there are no formal negotiations yet, the English club is closely monitoring the Brazilian’s situation and has already made preliminary contact to understand his status.

Mikel Arteta’s idea is to add a dynamic winger on the left side, someone who would complement Bukayo Saka on the right and Kai Havertz in the center of attack.

The Gunners’ goal is clear: to strengthen the attacking department with a player who can make an immediate impact.

Rodrygo, with experience at the highest level and the ability to both assist and score, fits the profile that the Spanish coach is looking for. This season, he has shown consistency, contributing to over 20 goals across all competitions—a figure that confirms his development at Real Madrid.

From the Spanish capital, Real Madrid would not oppose a sale, as long as a convincing offer arrives.

Although the initial valuation is around €100 million, the situation may require some flexibility. The player’s desire for new challenges and the club’s need to free up wage space for new signings could facilitate his departure.

Moreover, Real Madrid’s transfer targets, such as Dean Huijsen and Álvaro Carreras, require investment, so the sale of Rodrygo could be key to balancing the club’s finances.

Meanwhile, in London, Arsenal is waiting for the right moment to act. They are in no rush but are confident that Rodrygo could be the ideal piece to help them take the final step in both the Premier League and Europe.
