Legendary coach Jose Mourinho is expected to make a sensational return to the Premier League next season.
The former manager of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid is currently leading Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super League.
However, things are not going as well as expected, as Fenerbahçe is currently eight points behind Galatasaray, with only four matches remaining before the end of the season.
On Sunday, Mourinho’s team was defeated 1-0 by Besiktas, managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Recently, there has been speculation that Mourinho will make a shocking return to the Premier League and take charge of newly-promoted Leeds United.
Writing for The Telegraph, journalist Sam Wallace warned that Leeds could be an attractive option for Mourinho. However, he also added that most clubs consider this to be a game for the younger generation.
After winning the Championship, Leeds owner Paraag Marathe showed his support for Farke.
“My plan was always to come and talk to you after the season ended, and that time has now come, and I want to tell you that I’m very excited to continue with Daniel,” said Farke.
