Carlo Ancelotti appears to be getting closer to his departure from Real Madrid. The Italian is expected to make his second exit from the “Galacticos,” four years after his return, with reports suggesting he will become the new head coach of Brazil.
Real Madrid is said to be managed at the Club World Cup by former player and coach Santiago Solari.
After the end of this competition, the coaching position is expected to be taken over by Xabi Alonso. Solari had previously served as Real Madrid’s coach during the 2018–19 season, but his tenure lasted only five months, as he was dismissed in March following the team’s elimination from the Champions League by Ajax.
