Hansi Flick continues to maintain an unbeaten record in finals throughout his managerial career.
The German coach has now won seven finals, the latest being last night’s victory with Barcelona in the Copa del Rey against Real Madrid.
After the match, he said it was unbelievable and that he is proud of his team.
“It was unbelievable. We are all very proud of this team, and it’s a huge win for us. Koundé stopped two Real Madrid chances in extra time and scored the winning goal — I’m very happy for him.”
“The fans were spectacular. There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the whole day; you just had to look at people’s faces. There was a brilliant atmosphere in the stadium,” Flick declared.
