Not Klopp or Xabi Alonso – This is the Coach Florentino Perez Wants at Real Madrid

Inside Real Madrid, rumors about the future of Carlo Ancelotti continue to grow, especially now that a decisive phase of the season is approaching.

With the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona on the horizon and La Liga still up for grabs, the image of the Italian coach is once again at the center of media attention.

However, from the club’s top leadership, the message is clear: Florentino Perez maintains his trust in the coach.

Despite recent comments by Bayer Leverkusen director Fernando Carro indirectly linking Xabi Alonso with a potential return to Santiago Bernabeu, the Real Madrid board has not strayed from its stance.

According to Josep Pedrerol, host of El Chiringuito, Florentino’s intention is for Ancelotti to continue leading the team if he finishes the season with major titles. The sentiment within the club offices is that winning the Copa del Rey final against Barça would be a show of authority which, combined with a possible comeback in La Liga, would fully justify the coach’s continued presence.

Ancelotti, already a historic figure at the club for his achievements across different periods, continues to enjoy the respect and support of the president.

Although the schedule ahead won’t be easy, the possibility of winning two trophies this season has reignited optimism in Madrid.

Florentino knows that a coach with Ancelotti’s experience, calm demeanor, and prestige is hard to find. Therefore, barring a disaster in the final stage, all signs point to the Italian continuing to manage the team next season at the Bernabeu.
