The highly anticipated final between Barcelona and Real Madrid will take place this Saturday, kicking off at 22:00 at Estadio de La Cartuja.
Real Madrid’s head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has commented on the goalkeeper selection situation ahead of the King’s Cup final against Barcelona.
“Lunin is back in the squad. Will he play in the final? It could be Lunin or Courtois. I wouldn’t even rule out Fran Gonzalez – he’s also showing good form,” said Ancelotti.
Andriy Lunin was included in the squad for the first time in four rounds during the La Liga matchday 32 game against Athletic Bilbao.
When asked directly which goalkeeper will start in the final, Ancelotti didn’t even rule out third-choice Fran Gonzalez.
