Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to take over as head coach of Real Madrid, with Carlo Ancelotti expected to leave the Bernabeu at the end of April.
Klopp is said to be unhappy in his new role at Red Bull after leaving Liverpool at the end of last season. The German was appointed as Red Bull’s new global head of football just a few months after departing Anfield in May. However, less than a year into his new position, Klopp is already considering a return to coaching.
He was reportedly seen as a potential managerial candidate for Real Madrid years ago, but Florentino Perez did not approve the move at the time. It’s worth noting that the former Borussia Dortmund coach has a special clause in his contract that would allow him to terminate the agreement and return to coaching.
If approached by the German national team, Klopp would be permitted to resign from Red Bull immediately. Meanwhile, Ancelotti’s future has been the subject of speculation for some time, and the legendary coach has also been linked with the Brazil national team job.
He is now said to be open to offers from both Madrid and the Brazilian national team. The legendary Premier League manager may be in luck, as Ancelotti appears to be parting ways with Madrid.

According to Sky Sports, the Italian coach will leave Real Madrid after the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona on April 26.
Ancelotti cast doubts over his future at Real following last night’s Champions League quarter-final defeat to Arsenal, where his team lost 2-1 at home and 5-1 on aggregate. Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling for domestic trophies, with Ancelotti’s side trailing Barcelona by four points in La Liga with seven rounds remaining.
The two sides will meet in El Clasico on May 11, but the Italian coach is not expected to lead the team at Camp Nou. The possibility of bringing in Klopp has sparked interest among officials at the Bernabeu. Club president Florentino Perez is reportedly willing to do whatever it takes to bring in the charismatic coach.
