Real Madrid was eliminated from the Champions League last night after being defeated by Arsenal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Carlo Ancelotti is under heavy pressure following this loss.
However, after the match, the Italian coach made it clear that his team still has work to do this season. They are still competing for two major titles: La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
“I don’t know if this will be my last match with Real Madrid in the Champions League, and I don’t even want to know,” Ancelotti said after the match.
“We’re having a good season. We still have La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Club World Cup,” he added.
In two weeks, Real Madrid will play the big Copa del Rey final against Barcelona. Meanwhile, the title race in La Liga continues – also against Barcelona.
Ancelotti may leave at the end of the season, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
