Inter and Arsenal in the Semi-Finals, Real and Bayern Eliminated

Inter and Arsenal have qualified for the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid was defeated at the Bernabéu in the second leg of the quarter-finals by Arsenal with a score of 1-2, and with an aggregate result of 5-1, the Gunners advance to the semi-finals of this magical competition.

As expected, the clash between the Madrid and London sides delivered a spectacular match.

After 65 minutes of play, it was Saka — who had earlier missed a penalty in the 13th minute — that stunned the Bernabéu by putting Arsenal ahead 1-0.

However, just two minutes later, Brazilian Vinícius restored hope for Los Blancos by equalizing 1-1. Carlo Ancelotti’s men pushed forward with all their might until the end of the match in search of another goal, but their efforts were in vain. Arsenal’s Martinelli (90+3′) struck the final blow, sealing a 1-2 victory for the Londoners.

Arsenal move on to the semi-finals of the Champions League, while Real Madrid’s journey ends here for this season in Europe’s top competition.

A thrilling encounter also unfolded in the other match between Inter and Bayern Munich, which ended in a 2-2 draw. With an aggregate score of 4-3, the Italian side advances to the semi-finals.

Harry Kane (52’) opened the scoring for the Bavarians with a 0-1 lead. Six minutes later, Argentinian Lautaro Martínez ignited the San Siro by leveling the score to 1-1. Just three minutes after that, Pavard put Inter ahead for the first time, making it 2-1. Bayern didn’t give up, and through Dier (76’), managed to equalize 2-2 — the result with which this thrilling match ended.

Inter reaches the Champions League semi-finals, while Bayern bids farewell to the competition for this season.
