Neymar Junior continues to shine in his homeland.
The Brazilian forward has once again been the main protagonist for Santos.
The former Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Al Hilal player scored another goal in the quarterfinal match of the Paulista Championship, leading his team to a 2-0 victory against Bragantino.
The home team opened the scoring early. After that, they took control of the game and managed it well, doubling their lead in the second half.
Santos secured the win and advanced to the semifinals of the Paulista Championship.
This was Neymar’s third goal, along with three assists, since his return to Brazilian football following his experiences in Europe and a brief stint in Saudi Arabia.
He has been named “Man of the Match” four times in the six games he has played so far.
Neymar is working hard to regain his peak form in preparation for the World Cup, which will take place next summer.
