AT GROUND LEVEL
We are tired.
So many flapping wings,
sew wounds several times
reinvent yourself, catch your breath…
The weight is lighter
if we add to our landscape
small items like
love, tenderness,
a simple touch…
can bring us closer to the light.
And again
how much does it cost us!
So words like “humanity”
they become a simple succession of letters,
united by US
these strange beings
as we travel the planet
thirst for infinity
but without looking for it,
those we have not yet learned
to LIVE.
