CastelFontana (Brunnenburg in German) is a medieval castle near Tirolo, in Burgraviato and in Val Venosta (BZ). in the 13th century by the house of the Tarant.
The building became famous in the 1950s when the American poet Ezra Pound (1885 – 1972) chose it as his home.Today, inside the castle there is a memorial dedicated to the poet.
It has become the Brunnenburg Agricultural Museum (Landwirtschaftsmuseum Brunnenburg) in 1974, the castle illustrates the customs and ways of working of the local farmers, and is currently open to visitors every day, from April to October.
