Ruud van Nistelrooy has been let go after Ruben Amorim was appointed as Manchester United’s manager.
The former “Red Devils” player departs immediately as assistant coach of the club, since the Portuguese manager brought along his own staff from his time at Sporting Lisbon. Nistelrooy had been assistant coach under Erik Ten Hag at the start of this season, and after Ten Hag’s dismissal, he served as interim manager.
Under his leadership, Manchester United had success, securing three wins and one draw.
