Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller are two Bayern veterans expected to leave the Bundesliga record-holders next summer.
They are nearing the end of their careers and can no longer support the team as they once did. In fact, Neuer’s dip in form is reportedly harming the squad in both the Bundesliga and Champions League.
Bild reports that Bayern is monitoring several goalkeepers. On the list is AC Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan, valued at around €55 million, according to Telesport
Another option being considered is Aston Villa’s goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, known for his exceptional skills in saving penalties (among other qualities).
There is also consideration for bringing Marc-André ter Stegen back to Germany. As the current number one for the German national team, he could earn a contract at Allianz Arena.
