Now that Jennifer Lopez is single again, rumors have begun to swirl that the singer is in a new romantic relationship with rapper Drake.
It’s rumored that Drake was the one who reconnected with JLo as soon as he learned she had filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. The two seem to be reigniting a spark they shared years ago.
In Touch Weekly reports that Jennifer Lopez and Drake have been exchanging flirty texts and phone calls over the past few weeks. While JLo might not be looking for anything serious, she isn’t ruling out the possibility that Drake could be her next partner.
“He was very sweet and told her what a fool Ben was for letting her go, then hinted that he’d be happy to step in and make her feel loved,” an insider shared. Fans may remember that Drake and JLo briefly dated in 2016, when they were seen kissing at a shared event. However, the flame of that connection seemed to fade quickly.
“Getting that kind of attention when she was feeling so low was exactly what Jennifer needed. Now they’re texting every day, and things are going well,” added the source.
Recently, Lopez admitted she wasn’t actively looking to date after her split from Affleck, and she hasn’t publicly commented on a “reunion” with Drake. However, her divorce from Ben Affleck is not yet finalized. Perhaps, once she’s officially single, the two will go public with their relationship.
