Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly giving Kylian Mbappé the same instructions he used to give former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
After a relatively slow start in Madrid following his move from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, the 25-year-old has scored eight goals in 12 matches for the Spanish giants.

However, Los Blancos coach Ancelotti wants more goals from the Frenchman, and he is less concerned with the pressure he applies on opponents. This was something he also told former striker Benzema when he was at the “Santiago Bernabéu.”
The Italian told reporters: “I ask Mbappé to score goals. I prefer that he scores rather than presses. I tell Mbappé the same thing I asked Karim Benzema: to be ready when we recover the ball.”

Benzema left Real Madrid as a club legend in 2023 for the Saudi Pro League team, Al-Ittihad.
The French international scored 354 goals for the club and brought them numerous trophies.
