The 37-year-old scored a hat-trick last night in Inter Miami’s 6-2 victory over New England Revolution.
The Argentinian forward needed just 11 minutes to complete the hat-trick (78’, 81’, and 89’).
Luis Suarez also scored two other goals for Inter Miami, reports Indeksonline.
Messi has scored 20 goals this season and has also provided 17 assists.
Inter Miami secured the MLS title weeks ago, their first in history, and with one game remaining, they have broken the record for the most points accumulated in a season, with 74 points.
