European champions, Real Madrid, have raised ticket prices to record levels after signing French star Kylian Mbappé last month.

Specifically, in ten days, Real will host Valladolid in their first home game of the season, and to see the 25-year-old forward, you will need to spend between 95 and 210 euros. Valladolid has returned from the second league, and for a match against such an opponent at Santiago Bernabéu last season, it cost at least 55 euros.

Mbappé joined as a free agent after his contract with the French team PSG expired, and Real has not disclosed his salary.

However, the squad is also filled with many other international stars, such as 21-year-old Jude Bellingham and 23-year-old Vinícius Júnior. Although in recent years, watching such players live has already been expensive for the average football fan in Madrid, it has never been as costly as it is now.

An annual ticket for the cheapest section of the stadium costs 650 euros, which is an increase of 50 euros compared to last season, while the annual subscription for the most expensive section of the stadium is 1650 euros, previously 1500 euros.

Meanwhile, club officials are confident that the stands will be filled despite the dissatisfaction with the price increase.
