Udinese has officially announced the signing of former Barcelona, Arsenal, and Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez, who joins as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Serie A champions, Inter Milan.
The club has confirmed that the 35-year-old has signed a two-year contract, which will last until June 30, 2026. “Here he became a champion, here he found the love of the region, here the legend began: El Niño Maravilla has returned among us, El Niño Maravilla is once again a Bianconeri player,” the club wrote in a statement on their website.
Everything began for Sanchez at Udinese, as he started his European football career in the black and white colors in 2008, after officially signing for the club two years earlier.
From Udinese, he would join Barcelona under Pep Guardiola in 2011, where he scored 39 league goals in 88 appearances. He then joined Arsenal, followed by Manchester United, and later returned to Italy with Inter before moving to Marseille, only to return to Inter once again.
