Romelu Lukaku is interested in a reunion with Antonio Conte and is willing to leave Chelsea only for Napoli this month, according to Italian media reports.
The 31-year-old Belgian striker has been identified by the new Partenopei coach as his top choice to strengthen the club’s attack after Victor Osimhen is sold. The Blues of London are not open to a new loan deal, considering only a permanent sale to close the chapter once and for all.
On Thursday, it was reported that Aston Villa had agreed on a price with Chelsea for Lukaku, but the striker clearly rejected the move. The Belgian striker has a price tag of around €35 million in West London, a sum that Napoli is unwilling to pay.
